OUR MISSION

The RDC Tap & Style intensive is a little different than what you would expect from your average tap dance event. Our intensive focuses on stylizing a tap dancer's movement by fusing the influences of hip-hop, house, and grooves.

THE INTENSIVE

To begin, we start Friday night with a master tap class taught by Rithem Dance Company director and professional tap instructor Ryan Lohoff. Afterward, there is a LIVE DJ improv party with an open floor jam session!

 

Saturday starts bright and early for our Advanced level participants with a mix of classes intended to push tap dancers to their stylistic limits! In the afternoon, we also offer courses for Beginning and Intermediate levels as well. Once our classes come to a close, our Advanced level will begin rehearsals for an EXCLUSIVE Rithem Dance Company video shoot!

EXCLUSIVE VIDEO SHOOT

Finally, on Sunday, Advanced level participants will rehearse, block for the camera and take part in a professionally filmed, on-location dance video! Of course, a successful filming day wouldn't be complete without a quick wrap party to celebrate.
